Mission One

The platoon was ordered to the artificial satellite Chicago orbiting Mars. Chicago was in a geostationary orbit over a space elevator that uplifted minerals from Consanto’s mining operations on Mars. The platoon was to investigate alleged corruption of the local police force and their involvement in the manufacture and trafficking of the narcotic Spam. While investigation a warehouse, Private Phil Rudduck accidentally triggered a motion-sensing device and was severely wounded - loosing both his legs. Rudduck’s carelessness caused the destruction of data storage devices that may have implicated the police. The platoon was withdrawn and its Lieutenant – Milly Deli – reprimanded.

Mission two

Planet Magna – a colony of organics had established a socialist state. Two competing ideologies emerged, one closely aligned to Marxism, the other to Multipathism. The leader of the Multipathist group disappeared and Echo platoon was sent to locate him and prevent a civil war. Acting on information obtained through the interrogation of Marxists, the platoon raided a dome on the eastern continent. During the raid, Private Shelly Clarke activated a nanoswarm when she switched on a notebook. The nanoswarm had the potential to devour the whole dome. If not for the quick action of Technician Michael Bolcher – who activated a defensive nanoswarm – 980 people would have died. Clarke died before the defensive swarm took control. The Multipath leader was located alive in a hidden room beneath the dome.
