Toyota is a the world’s second-largest automotive manufacturer and produces over 10 million vehicles a year. Toyota is a the market leader in the production of hydrogen fueled vehicles such as the Mirai, and is also the world’s biggest producer of hybrid electric vehicles.

The company created its first passenger car in 1936 and has since gone on to sell 200 million vehicles. It produces vehicles under five brand names, including Toyota, Daihatsu, Hino, Lexus and Ranz and has partnerships with vehicle manufacturers in China and India. Toyota's vehicles are sold in more than 170 countries.
